The Lord shows us multiple scenarios of our life. We choose what we want, but when we take His will into our life, we can choose wisely and make the best of it with what He has prepared for us. We also need to understand that it is not about us, but it’s for His kingdom. Unfortunately, we constantly battle the flesh, and we want to be right or be in control, but by releasing all the power and control to the Creator of the universe, we gain more. We can only do so much with what we have, but imagine, just imagine for a second, that you’re giving control to our Creator to do things that we cannot even fathom, quoting scripture in Jeremiah 33:3
3 ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ One commentary describes this verse with one word: “inaccessible.” That’s what we have once we surrender our life to Christ. He gives us access to the Father for the things we do not know that are good for our benefit. It may not be what we want, but what we need. Sometimes surrender means winning; surrender means power. We unleash a supernatural strength that only God can provide without any price; it’s freely given. He already paid the price for all our sins. Since the beginning, we were His, but we sinned, and that separated us from our eternity. God wasn’t happy that no one was good enough, that even us being His own creation, He still paid the price for all our sins. Quoting Hosea 1 described how The Lord asked Hosea to marry a prostitute, the same way God paid the price for all of us to be in direct connection again with Him. Quoting Isaiah 54: 4-5 “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed; Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame; For you will forget the shame of your youth, And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore.

For your Maker is your husband, The Lord of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. That’s how much He loves us, that in His perfection and His omnipotence, not needing anything from us, He still chose to pay the price for us to overcome death. When Jesus gave His last drop of blood for us and gave His last breath, the veil was torn and broke the curse of sin and death that separated us from God. Now we have direct access to the Father through Jesus Christ.
